Dear
Durjay,
After being back from India I would like to give you my
comments on our tour as promised.
Delhi : Accommodation
was o. k., also the guide. Corbett National Park: Accommodation was very
basic as you mentioned, but the most problem was the low temperature in the
rooms itself. We would have been very happy for a heated room anywhere.
Nevertheless Corbett/Dhikala was an unforgettable experience and I would go
there again also under the harsh conditions we experienced.
Your
local representative (Pramod Singh) was one of the best we met.
Agra:
Accommodation was o. k., also the guide for the monuments. Fatehpur Sikri:
There was a guide we had a lot of problems to understand his explanations
because he spoke a heavy accent.
Bharatpur: Accommodation
(Forest Lodge) was better than expected but the restaurant was basic.
Ranthambore: Accommodation (Regency) was o. k. and your local
representative (Arvind) very helpful and friendly.
Jaipur:
Accommodation was o. k., but the guide for the monuments was not.
Obviously his main interest was not explaining the fabulous objects of
interest but to carry us to some shops also after explaining him to be not
interested in.
Sariska: Accommodation was o. k. as the
safaris where.
Kaziranga: Service and also accommodation
(Dynasty, Wild Grass Lodge) was perfect.
The driver (Daya Ram)
was very good. We feeled save every time.
At the end I would like
to express my gratitude for the wonderful days we spent in India. I am sure;
we shall come again maybe for visiting Sikkim. Moreover many thanks for
providing me with information concerning Sikkim.
Best regards
Rainer Ruckhaber
