.......... Now we are nearly one week at home and I would like to say: Thank you very much for organising our tour through Rajasthan. We liked the Heritage Hotels you have chosen for us. Sometimes they were just great, sometimes there was not the expected level (Pushkar and Mount Abu). Deogarh is for elder people exhausting, because to go to the restaurant we had to climb 153 steps! ..........





.......... We have now got back home and before work takes all my attention back again I would like, also in the name of my partner Francis, to thank you and your team for one of the most fascinating and wonderful trips that we have done so far. India, or at least the north of it as we have seen it, is a wonderful country and discovering it has been for us in turn wonderful, upsetting, touching, overwhelming... It has definitely been an intense and stretching experience with good learning for us ..........





.......... I returned from New York last night and I am now in the office working very hard after the wonderful holidays. I want to thank you for all the arrangements you did for us. We enjoyed very much our trip to India and a good part of the reason was because of all the assistance we got from you and the people at Compass. ..........

We have found all the organization very efficient and professional, our tour was perfect because we had the opportunity to visit everything we had planned and, at the same time, to breath the real Indian life. ..........





..........The national parks were wonderful, great country, although most of the tourist's and the guides had 'Tiger fever'!!! Most visitors are only interested in seeing Tigers and don't seem to bothered with all the other wonderful wildlife (but for the record, we saw 11 Tigers!!) Khajuraho was lovely, very relaxed town with friendly people, the temples were beautiful and lovely to see. Agra was hectic and not really a good example of India or Indians, very touristy. Overall everyone was friendly and helpful, very welcoming people. ...........




............Agra: Accommodation was o. k., also the guide for the monuments.
Fatehpur Sikri: There was a guide we had a lot of problems to understand his explanations because he spoke a heavy accent.
Bharatpur: Accommodation (Forest Lodge) was better than expected but the restaurant was basic.
Ranthambore: Accommodation (Regency) was o. k. and your local representative (Arvind) very helpful and friendly...............




........Just a note to say a big thank you to you and the rest of the team for organising such a fantastic holiday. There was always someone to meet us, the guides were all excellent and very knowledgeable, the drivers were great (their standard of driving was very high) and all the hotels were very comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends ............

..........In my experience, Durjay and Compass delivered even more than what was promised. I had many fascinating and memorable experiences that went way beyond the confines of my itinerary. I asked for some last-minute itinerary changes that Durjay handled without a glitch. My advice is, if there is something extra that you learn about that you want to see, ask about it. I am confident that Durjay and his team will do everything within their power to accommodate any request you make..........




..........Bravo to another fantastic tour you arranged for our second trip to India! As a repeat guest, we can add “reliable” service to the long list of praises for Compass. As stated before, “Whenever we return to India, this wondrous and distant land, we will always go with a "Compass" at hand”. It did not occur to me how soon we would come back. Normally, we do not set foot into a country we recently visited, much less the same continent. But my husband explained that Compass is the only company we can fully trust to fulfill our wishes, especially on short notice............




............We had a fantastic time on our trip to India. Much of this was attributable to the organisation and planning arranged by Compass India. ........Thank you also for the farewell dinner; it was great to see you again before we left for home. And finally, thanks for the cookery book. I've tried one or two recipes - I have to tell you that the top chef in India is safe in his job for the time being............
